The many unsung functions in Lambda Chi Alpha.

First off, I wish to add my kudos to Brother George Spasyk and the first two times I had the pleasure of meeting him. The first was for our Colonization in 1966 and the second when he returned to Pittsbug State for the Chartering of LX Zeta in 1969.

I am thinking of my Zeta as I often do being very envolved for so many years now. In preparing to go to our homecoming in two weeks and preparing all of the items I will be taking down for the chapter house and for our auction.

While over the many years and the Traveling Secretarys, Chapter Consultants, and now ELCs, these Brothers have given a service to so many.

But, who are the people who go unsung in our chapters?

Yes, the Alpha runs the Zeta, but the most inderated Officerships ore:

High Rho and High Pi.

The High Rho is instructed to keep in touch with the Alumni Brothers.

If there is a week High Rho who does not keep us updated, then the Alumni lose interest and do not come back and participate in time and money. Please place more emphasis on your High Rho.

The High Pi is one that sits as a final judge on chapter problems and events. They are older and more mature than the many young men/Brothers who may have some great ideas but go forward with a little disregard as to what the out come may be.

Chapters who do not have a High Pi need to have one and as is seen many times, chapters have none.

Keep the faith! Prosper and grow.

Amen about the High Rho!… ’tis a thankless job, but somebody’s gotta do it…
