Legacy

This past September 1, I had the honor of witnessing my son’s initiation into Lambda Chi Alpha. What an incredible experience it was. It was even better because one of my classmates was there to witness the initiation with me. It was one of the highlights of my life. If you are ever invited to your son’s initiation, do not pass this up. You’ll never regret it.

I,too,am a legacy initiate.I can’t describe the awesome power and feeling now, but I can still see it like yesterday. My Uncle Ed showed up for my initiation unexpectedly to me(but not to my brothers;)).I hope someday to attend my nephew’s initiation, should he associate.

I encourage ALL brothers to attend and witness a legacy’s initiation. It has an awesome impact on them at the right time. Those of you initiated know exactly what I’m talking about;)! I would like to attend another initiation ritual someday to reinforce those precepts that have helped me be the man I am today.I think we all should,if possible…it never hurts to be reminded…God bless you brothers always:)!

I have witnessed and taken a small role in the intiiations of both of my sons into Epsilon Pi at University of Maryland. The experience was truly moving. Two of my fondest and proudest moments.
