As my first post on Voices, I wanted to talk about New Beginnings. Since my affiliation with Lambda Chi Alpha started with a few new beginnings of my own, why not talk about the future of our fraternity, and particularly, my Zeta.

On October 9th, Delta Tau Zeta welcomed 6 new associates to Lambda Chi Alpha. A great bunch of guys, all with talents and backgrounds which will truly benefit Lambda Chi. With this class, my Zeta brought in six true gentlemen, including two Eagle Scouts, a talented athlete, and six great scholars.

These six true gentlemen are people I probably would have never talked to without the miracle of fraternity. These guys, along with my fellow brothers are all in all, people I would have never taken the time to befriend without the commonality of Lambda Chi Alpha.

Guys, if you read this, good luck on your “Great Passage,” I know you will make us all proud with your accomplishments.

For anyone else reading this, look back at your Zeta, would you have befriended any of your brothers without Lambda Chi? I’d bet that most of you wouldn’t have, and that truly shows how amazing our bond really is.
