I recently had the opportunity to teach IMPACT at James Madison University (JMU). A group that had been operating underground for several years and that has taken the steps over the past few months to step to the plate and colonize. They will have their first initiation next Saturday. I can’t tell them how proud I am of them. Even greater, these men will have the opportunity to work with the Brothers at George Washington University who have an unmatched ability to help others experience our ritual like I’ve never seen.

It would be SO much easier for the men at JMU to remain underground. To take the easy way out. Yet they have chosen to stand-up and make a difficult choice…..to accept responsibility for the work they do…..and to accept additional work. To make a public statement that says to those on their campus, ” We Believe in Lambda Chi Alpha”.

Their work was not without help. Staff such as Josh Ladolo and alumni like Jason Seegert were willing to spend the time and make the effort to let these guys know that they have a home with with us.

I look forward to calling all of you “brothers”
