Late this evening, 12,000 copies of the 50th Edition of The Paedagous, Lambda Chi Alpha’s manual for fraternity education, arrived to headquarters. Members of staff and the Butler chapter stayed late to unload 3,000 at the office for immediate shipping. The remaining 9,000 were unloaded to our storage facility a mile down the road.

For those of you who like stats:

• there are 20 books in each box
• each box weighs 29.42 pounds
• we unloaded 622 boxes totaling 12,440 books
• total weight was 19,290 lbs. distributed among 10 skids

For those of you want to see the first Paed coming out of the first opened box, I have a low resolution and high resolution video for you.

Shipping will most likely start tomorrow. It might take our team a week to box and mail them all out, so patience is appreciated. We’ll get them to our chapters as soon as we can.
