Tragedy at Va. Tech

April 18th, 2007 by Glen Alan Graham. Popularity: 12%.

The tragedy of the terrible shootings at Virginia Tech has been on my mind & heart the past three days. It’s been on everyone’s heart, I believe, who has any connection with higher ed., as alumnus, current student or faculty or parent, etc.

My prayers are with our LCA brothers at Sigma-Lambda Zeta at Va. Tech. I hope that none of them was killed or injured, but surely some had beloved classmates who were. May Christ our Light bathe you in His comforting peace.

And, brothers, as members of a fraternity like ours, with its high ideals and spiritual teachings, YOU are in a position and have a limitless resource with which to comfort your classmates there at Va. Tech. May our Lord strengthen you for this ministry!
