Well, Bro. Ed,

Just now while surfing the "Voices" blogsite (well, sort of surfing), I ran into THIS posting. I wonder how I've missed it?

Have I said that I'm PROUD of this, our Brotherhood? Have I praised you, my Brother in the Bond, in postings, e-mails and verbally (face-to-face) to other LCA brothers? Well, all previous was nothing compared to what I'm feeling right now! If this post is indicative of your character and of your work as GHA, to this point and in the future, then all I can say is, "The Good Lord Jesus has put the earthly leadership of our Brotherhood in excellent hands!"

And once again, I say congratulations to you for being elected to be our GHA. To which I add congratulations to our Brotherhood for electing such a Brother as you.

One small comment about your goals, etc., as posted here. Item #3 under the GHA Challenge spoke directly to me, since I was High Phi at Epsilon-Gamma Zeta my junior & senior years. Our Ritual means a tremendous amount to me, so much so that whenever I go outside just after sunset and there is a brand-new waxing crescent moon in the western sky, I immediately say "Per crucem crescens" to myself and then to our Lord I offer a prayerful thanks, for the great spiritual truths of Christianity the Ritual teaches. Indeed, EVERYONE involved in any of the rituals you list SHOULD memorize his part! AND live his life accordingly!

In ZAX,
Glen Alan Graham

Ed,

Congratulations on becoming Grand High Alpha. You probably will not remember me but I have very good and fond memories of your visits to Culver-Stockton College in your early years. I am Kappa Mu Zeta 944, Sam Pulliam is my name. I was the only african american member of Kappa Mu Zeta when you came to visit and you took great special care in making sure I would have the best Lambda Chi experience, and I did. Just maybe one of these days our paths will cross again.

Ed, From the day you joined Lambda Chi you have given it your foremost attention and loyalty. As is evident from your program, you assume your position as Grand High Alpha with profound knowledge of our fraternity and of the fraternity/collegiate world in general. With gratitude for your continued dedication, and with heartiest congratulations, I remain,

Yours in ZAX,

Brother Grand High Alpha,

I'm excited at the direction and vision you have for our great organization. I wish you luck in your journey knowing that there's a huge support network out here for you to rely on. Good luck! ZAX
