One of the more important jobs of the Grand High Zeta is being a Goodwill Ambassador. Over the last week or two, my work travels have allowed me to spend time with three remarkable brothers. Each served Lambda Chi Alpha previously as a member of the Grand High Zeta but their involvement has waned over the last 5-10 years. Since Bill Farkas arrived last June as our new Executive Vice President, I have intentionally sought out former members of the GHZ (who we call the Board of Councilors) to re-engage and re-energize these brothers as we approach our Centennial Anniversary in 4 years.

I’m happy to report that my most recent visits were well received and each brother was excited about what is happening in Lambda Chi Alpha. They are fully aware of the Fraternity’s past challenges and current issues, but all three are excited about Bill’s arrival and leadership. Sharing the good news of Lambda Chi Alpha is one of the fun parts of being on the GHZ - and with the exciting changes happening from the Headquarters staff to Chapter Services to the First Year Experience, we have some good news indeed to share.
