Lambda Chi Alpha’s Voices is composed of the current authors. Starting in October 2005, these men and women began writing two to five postings a month describing their personal experiences regarding Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and its members.

John Fluharty (Lock Haven 1991)

John Fluharty John Fluharty has been involved in grassroots politics for almost 20 years. As the Vice President of Government Relations for Chesapeake Enterprises, John works with various corporations in developing their political and governmental strategies. He specializes in issues before the US House of Representatives and has worked extensively with House leadership, the Financial Services Committee, and the Ways & Means Committee.

Matt Griffin (Millersville 2007)

Matt Griffin is a student from suburban Philadelphia. He is a junior at Millersville University, majoring in history, with a minor in emergency management. He serves the Delta-Tau Zeta as a member of the Kappa Committee, and is involved with the Second Mile, a program mentoring disadvantaged inner city youth. Matt also works as an emergency medical technician, and is a state certified EMS Instructor.

Jason Hoskins (California 2007)

Jason Hoskins University of CaliforniaJason Hoskins is a third year at the University of California studying History and Political Science, with a focus on US History and American Politics. A founding father of the new Colony, he has served his chapter as the High Epsilon, Standards/Chartering Chairman, and a member of the Executive Committee. Hoskins is involved in many aspects of the student life at UCSD having held positions as an AS Senator, President of the All Campus Commuter Board, Intern for the Dean of Student Affairs and as an Orientation Leader.

Ed Leonard (William Jewell 1979)

Ed Leonard (William Jewell 1979) Ed Leonard currently serves Lambda Chi Alpha as Grand High Delta. Professionally, Ed is the vice president for college advancement at Wilmington College, Wilmington, Ohio. Ed’s past service to Lambda Chi Alpha includes: Grand High Tau, Grand High Iota, Grand High Phi, House Corporation President at William Jewell, High Pi at Wittenberg, Alumni Advisory Board at Mercer, Director of Chapter Services, and Educational Leadership Consultant.

Brandt Leonard Montgomery (Montevallo 2006)

Brandt Leonard Montgomery (Montevallo 2006) Brandt Leonard Montgomery is a junior majoring in instrumental music performance (trumpet) with a minor in history at the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama. He was initiated as a member of Lambda Chi Alpha on November 7, 2003 by the Sigma-Epsilon Zeta, where he currently serves as High Beta and as an ex-officio member of the Executive Committee. Brandt is also serving as one of twelve members on the 2005-2006 Student Advisory Committee of Lambda Chi Alpha.

Jason Pearce (Elon 1994)

Jason Pearce (Elon 1994) Jason Pearce is a web developer from Raleigh, North Carolina. He served as editor of the Cross & Crescent from 1995 to 1999 before pursuing a dotcom career. He returned to staff in 2004 as the director of information technology, assuming communication responsibilities again in November 2005.

Kevin Piket (Eastern Illinois 1997)

Kevin Piket (Eastern Illinois 1997) Kevin Piket currently serves as the chair of the Joseph T. Charles Mentor Leadership Program. Professionally, Kevin is a realtor on The Piket Team with John Greene, Realtor in Naperville, IL. He also serves as an Impact Leadership coach, the Alumni Advisory Board chair for the chapter at Eastern Illinois University and the chair of the Ronald A. Wilson Leadership Scholarship with the Lambda Chi Alpha Education Foundation. He also served as High Pi for the chapter at Northwestern University.

Tim H. Reuter (Simpson 2003)

Tim H. Reuter (Simpson 2003) Tim serves the Fraternity as its associate director of chapter services. He graduated from Simpson College in 2003 and spent the 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 academic years traveling as an ELC and leading specific projects. In the fall of 2006, Tim plans on beginning his Master’s Degree in Philanthropic Studies.

Tina Waldrop (Staff 1999)

Tina Waldrop (Staff 1999) Tina Waldrop joined Lambda Chi Alpha’s staff in October 1999. She coordinates membership services for all chapters and colonies, and is often the first person our undergraduate members contact. Tina has a son, Zachary.
