I could not agree with you more on this blog.  As a former, High Phi in my chapter (Phi-Theta) many years ago, I took great pride in getting all of teams prepared and ready for ritual night.  But as you succintly put it, the preparation starts well before that, from securing a location, making sure brothers know their parts and keeping on top of the whole production.  But I found that too many High Phis I would run into would think their job was done once Ritual was done.  It is just beginning!
Working with the High Kappa brothers need to be constanly reminded and educated of what core values our Ritual instills in us.
Keep up the great blogs and I look forward to many more.
